Upon entering Utah we were inundated with pouring rain and warnings of flash floods. Much of Zion and Arizona had flooding.
On this hike we had a tremendous view of the Virgin River that flows through Zion Canyon.
The view from our campsite was stunning as well.
The only way to get into Zion Canyon is to get on a free shuttle bus.

Our son and grandson came to visit. David and JC hiked up the Virgin River into very narrow canyons. Carter enjoyed visiting the horses.
Carter became a real "tree hugger" by the time we left Zion!
